About this role
Call Quest Solution is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing and deployment solutions that improve software quality and delivery efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Build and execute automated functional, regression, API, and performance tests
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
- Identify test gaps and improve automation coverage across applications
- Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize test execution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in test automation or quality engineering
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)
