The role involves directing a team of Solution Engineers to achieve technical wins and support the commercial sales process through strategic leadership and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Direct your SE team's efforts to achieve strategic and operational objectives
- Manage the hiring, staffing, and professional growth of a diverse, high-performing workforce
- Demonstrate crisp, practical sales management skills
- Act as the primary interface between the Commercial team and our specialized "Majors" technical teams
- Act as a key bridge between your team and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
- Leverage a modern tech stack to drive efficiency and scale
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience (managing people or leading high-impact project teams)
- A strong understanding of sales and presales methodologies (e.g., Command of the Message, Value Selling)
- The ability to align complex technical features across the Boomi pillars (iPaaS, API Management, AI, Data Management, and Platform Engineering) to tangible business value and ROI
- A passion for mentoring and the professional development of others, with a proven ability to inspire a team toward a common goal
- Excellent procedural thinking skills with the ability to design and optimize business processes for a high-velocity sales environment
- Exceptional soft skills and a track record of success in client-facing roles where you have demonstrated technical authority and built executive-level trust
- 3+ years of leadership experience within solution engineering, services, training, or other client-facing work in the software/technology space (iPaaS or PaaS preferred)
- Previous experience working directly as a Solution Engineer or related role
- In-depth knowledge of the Boomi platform and the competitive landscape across all five technical 'Majors.'
