Clinical Project Manager

Ellit Groups is a woman- and minority-founded organization redefining careers in Healthcare IT. They are seeking a Clinical Project Manager to lead large-scale Epic inpatient implementations across pediatric facilities, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows and operational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for Epic inpatient deployments within a Children’s Hospital setting
• Oversee the rollout of an established Epic instance across multiple hospitals within a health system
• Collaborate with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and operational leaders to ensure successful implementation
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including clinical workflow design, build validation, testing, training, and go-live readiness
• Ensure pediatric-specific workflows are appropriately integrated and optimized within the inpatient environment
• Facilitate governance meetings, executive updates, and stakeholder communications
• Identify risks and proactively drive mitigation strategies to keep the project on track
• Support integrated testing, dress rehearsals, and go-live command center operations
• Maintain focus on delivering practical, scalable solutions that support patient safety and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• 5+ years of healthcare IT project management experience
• Direct experience leading Epic inpatient implementations
• Proven experience supporting Children's Hospital implementations or pediatric inpatient environments
• Strong knowledge of Epic inpatient workflows (ClinDoc, Orders, ASAP, Willow Inpatient, OpTime/Anesthesia integration preferred)
• Experience deploying an established Epic instance across a multi-hospital health system
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional healthcare projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Epic certification or prior Epic application experience
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
• Experience working in large academic medical centers or integrated delivery networks
• Familiarity with revenue cycle and ancillary integrations within inpatient settings
