Senior Microsoft Engineer

The Redesign Group is a global technology and cybersecurity Solution Provider leveraging design thinking and emerging technology solutions. They are seeking a Senior Microsoft Engineer to design, deploy, and support Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions across customer environments, focusing on delivering scalable Microsoft solutions and providing expert-level consulting.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Microsoft infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Lead complex Microsoft deployments, migrations, and upgrades
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support
• Architect and support Active Directory and identity services
• Execute Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations
• Deploy and optimize Windows Server and virtualization environments
• Automate tasks using PowerShell and maintain technical documentation
• Work directly with customers in a consultative, delivery-focused role

Requirements:

• 7+ years supporting Microsoft infrastructure in a professional services, MSP, VAR, or enterprise environment
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft 365
• Experience designing and delivering secure hybrid or cloud-based Microsoft solutions
• Hands-on experience with virtualization (Hyper-V) and core networking fundamentals
• PowerShell automation experience
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing consulting skills
• Experience with Microsoft-aligned hyper-converged infrastructure solutions
• Familiarity with backup and recovery tools such as Veeam
• Knowledge of Microsoft security and identity technologies including Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC
• Experience with Intune, MECM/SCCM, or endpoint management tools
• Exposure to compliance-driven environments (PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2)
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (PowerShell DSC, ARM templates, Terraform)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
