Magnet Forensics is a global leader in the development of digital investigative software that aids in modernizing digital investigations. The Product Management Lead will define and promote new product approaches for digital forensics investigation and management products, ensuring success outcomes for a major platform program.
Responsibilities:
- Own major platform outcomes
- Define and manage cross platform product outcomes that support a major business or platform objective, spanning multiple teams, components, and releases
- Translate high-level strategic goals into measurable program level results, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform evolution
- Partner with the Director of Product Management and senior leaders to introduce and socialize new product approaches, frameworks, and integration patterns across the platform
- Influence prioritization decisions that affect department level roadmaps and investment tradeoffs
- Lead initiatives involving evolving or unproven technologies (including AI assisted workflows and complex data integrations), selecting approaches where outcomes cannot be fully defined upfront
- Evaluate success using both quantitative metrics and qualitative signals where traditional measures may be insufficient
- Oversee execution across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, UX, data, and adjacent product teams
- Identify systemic risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs; proactively course correct to protect business outcomes
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for initiative performance, regularly communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders
- Frame product decisions in terms of customer impact, operational efficiency, and strategic value
- Lead customer validation at scale (betas, early access, lighthouse customers), synthesizing feedback into platform level insights and decisions
- Ensure solutions materially improve customer workflows and deliver outcomes that are visible and defensible in the market
Requirements:
- 7+ years of SaaS product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of large, cross team or program level initiatives in enterprise or data driven SaaS environments
- Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous problem spaces, applying judgment where requirements, constraints, or technologies are still emerging
- Experience evaluating and guiding work involving AI enabled capabilities, complex data pipelines, or platform integrations
- Track record of influencing decisions beyond immediate team boundaries, shaping department level priorities, practices, or product direction
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives with significant customer and organizational impact
- Strong ability to anticipate downstream effects and manage cross dependency risk
- Ability to communicate complex tradeoffs and outcomes clearly to senior and executive stakeholders, earning trust through clarity, data, and judgment
- Experience helping define or evolve product management practices for platform or systems level work
- Exposure to AI driven product discovery, delivery, or decision support workflows
- Prior responsibility for initiatives with material impact to operating objectives or customer outcomes
