Cloud IT Tec Inc is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing and developing scalable web-based environments on AWS and utilizing various services while implementing best practices in architectural design and system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of business and technology drivers, and how they influence architectural design, system performance, monitoring, and industry best practices
- Experience designing and developing scalable web-based environments on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, MFTS, SQS/SNS, S3, and Route53
- Proficient in modern development technologies including Java (8+), Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, AWS or Cloud Foundry, and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools in cloud environments, including Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and SonarQube
- Practical experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and Dynatrace
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proven ability to support high-volume, SLA-driven applications and manage their integrations with dependent systems and databases
- Experience building and maintaining mission-critical systems leveraging messaging and event-driven architectures
- Solid understanding of financial industry technology ecosystems, including strategies for optimizing public cloud costs
