Frontend Software Engineer | $120/hr Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to develop and validate frontend coding benchmarks using modern technologies. The role involves curating benchmark tasks, designing tests, and providing feedback on code quality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate real-world frontend coding benchmarks using React, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Curate benchmark tasks by sourcing issues, solutions, and test cases from production-level repositories
• Design and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to verify solution correctness
• Debug, optimize, and document benchmark code to ensure reliability and reproducibility
• Maintain consistency and scalability across benchmark task distributions
• Provide structured, written feedback on solution quality, clarity, and implementation approach

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a frontend software engineer working with React, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Solid understanding of frontend debugging, testing, and validation workflows
• Comfort working with real-world codebases and production-style engineering challenges
• Strong technical writing skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
