The Director of Safety, reporting to the Chief Safety Officer, leads a dynamic team of program safety and compliance program leaders while directing, developing, and overseeing Unifi’s health and safety policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include management of Gensuite, the backbone of Unifi’s safety management system for tracking, analysis, and trending of company safety & quality related data. This individual must thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires much attention to detail, creativity, and consistency.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITILES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or related field is required. Six (6) years of relevant work experience required, in addition to strong leadership skills and track record of executing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job the employee works indoors in a semi-private office, while performing multiple tasks under tight time constraints. During field visits the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions including rain, snow, sun and extreme cold and extreme heat and moving mechanical parts such as propellers and jet fans and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May work various hours, nights, weekends and holidays. Up to 50% travel may be required.
