Job Description
This is a Co-op Opportunity for Logistics and Engineering students to support Logistics Planning Functions in supply chain, procurement planning, and production control. Below you will find some general information about Bosch North America (RBNA), the Bosch-Charleston Automotive plant, and some examples of typical assignments that students will be given:
- Process documentation updates (operator instructions, guides, forms, etc.)
- Perform process and gage capability studies
- OEE and line utilization studies
- Support Engineers in trouble-shooting specific problem areas
- Communicate and work effectively through specific task assignment
- Analysis and decision making responsibility for specific problems or topics
- Improvement proposals and execution of such as supported by analysis
- PFMEA documentation updates
- SPC overview responsibilities
- Specific problem trouble-shooting responsibility
- Asset and capacity studies
- Support product release process (sample builds, PPAP, etc.)
- Change management projects
- Capital planning responsibility
- Quality concern reaction

Qualifications
What you'll bring to the table:

- Engineering Aptitude: Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Packaging, or a related Engineering field.
- Collaborative Spirit: You excel at teamwork and communication, both written and verbal.
- Detail-Oriented Mindset: You possess a keen eye for detail and are committed to accuracy in all tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Competent in use of systematic problem solving tools
- Self starting and results oriented
- Demonstrates a strong sense of teamwork
- Exhibits a customer oriented mentality
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines on assigned tasks, utilize project timeline tools, and effectively communicate goals and results
