Systems Engineers, MBSE
Bell’s Digital Systems Engineers play a pivotal role in the coordination, development, and management of technical requirements and risks for aircraft programs. As a Systems Engineer you will engage in activities such as developing and refining Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models using CAMEO and System Modeling Language (SysML).
Your work will emphasize system decomposition, functional analysis, interface definition, and performance modeling to describe and analyze complex systems and software. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct trade studies, support system integration and verification, and ensure alignment with program objectives.
You will also contribute to risk assessments, requirements traceability, and the continuous improvement of MBSE methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency in aircraft systems development.
You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
What you’ll be doing as a Systems Engineer:
- End-to-end aircraft architecture modeling and requirements definition. Complex mission system definition and modeling. System-of-system modeling of aircraft fleets in operational environments. Autonomous systems modeling and development.
- Utilize MBSE to realize/describe/analyze complex systems in CAMEO / SysML.
- Promote, mature, and grow the application and use of MBSE for assigned design teams, program, and enterprise.
- Develop operational models using OMG UML Unified Profile for DoDAF/MoDAF (UPDM).
- Coordinate and execute design reviews to include SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, FRR, TRR, SVR for air vehicle, systems, and components.
- Support development of requirements and specifications for subsystems, components, parts, and assemblies.
- Collaborate with design engineers in the development of system and component level technical requirement specifications and Statements of Work.
