As the Head of Supply Chain and Operations Personal Health North America, you will be responsible for the demand planning, inventory availability, order flow, and delivery of products to the customers and consumers, and optimizing the goods flow in the region. Furthermore, you will lead the development of the supply chain and operations in alignment with the product-market combinations found in the region. You will be part of the global Personal Health Supply Chain Leadership Team, where you influence and collaborate on the key priorities for the NAR region, as well as global supply chain leverage across Philips in general and Personal Health specifically. Next, you will be part of the Personal Health NAR Region Leadership Team.
Your role:
Define and implement the medium-term strategy that enables competitive product availability and service delivery in the NAR region.
Performance in the region covering Demand Planning, Inventory Availability, Service Delivery, Costs, and Cash (Inventory & Order processing).
Identify opportunities for performance improvement, both within the own organization and across the broader NAR and PH ISC organization.
Drive the quality of demand and S&OP planning in the NAR region. Lead the consistent communication of the demand signal toward factories and business units, and receive and process supply responses to create a clear perspective on availability.
Orchestrate proactive communication on availability opportunities and bottlenecks throughout the NAR region.
Translate business and customer requirements to create and deliver strategies (across Talent, Partnerships, Processes, Systems/ Technology) to enable Region business plans (e.g., product portfolio, route-to-market, growth plans, customer requirements).
Represent the NAR Region in the Integrated Supply Chain team of Personal Health – vice versa represents ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) on the NAR Region Leadership Team.
Drive the integrated supply chain transformation in the region and co-develop the transformation on the ISC PH level.
Drive quality standards, targets, and methods to control process quality.
Drive a quality & customer mindset throughout Operations and assess the effectiveness of third-party processes and their quality control.
Align the supply chain processes between the different groups in the department. Establish integrated ways of working in E2E (End-to-End) Supply Chain as well as with Commercial teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance).
Coordinate the resolution of technical shortcomings of supply chain processes and procedures and introduce new ways to optimize them.
Develop high-performing teams.
Strong attention to product and process quality.
You're the right fit if you have:
10+ years of supply chain and operations experience in the consumer industry.
Hands-on and leadership experience with demand & supply planning, S&OP, and distribution. Experience with ERP and planning systems.
Proven ability to lead transformation and develop capabilities across processes, people, and systems.
At least 5 years of broad, international people leadership experience.
Experience with overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
Experience in the NAR Consumer Market.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong collaboration attitude and skills.
A master’s degree in business, operations & supply chain, or engineering.
Drive continuous improvement by applying lean principles.
