Position Title: Director of Buntrock Commons and Auxiliaries
Department: Buntrock Commons.
Classification: Exempt.
FTE: 1.0.
Work Schedule: The standard 40-hour work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; flexible work arrangements can be proposed and are subject to approval by HR and relevant supervisors. Occasional evening and weekend hours required for special events.
Salary Range: $83,000 - $93,000.
Essential Job Duties:
- Manage auxiliary functions and Buntrock Commons operations.
- Day to day interaction, quality assurance and problem solving for food service and the bookstore operations.
- Serve as the point person for contract management of the dining and bookstore operations.
- Oversee college campus card processes and technology.
- College fleet vehicles.
- Manage college driver authorization process.
- Transportation.
- Campus Vending.
- Mail, print, shred and copy services.
- Buntrock hours and operations.
- Coordinate certain campus rental property activities.
- Manage auxiliary invoices, reporting, and contracts.
- Serve as the liaison between the Finance Division, Student Life, Conferences and Events Offices, and Facilities and Custodial staff relating to Auxiliary and Buntrock services.
- Collaborate and communicate with all other departments across campus to ensure that all areas are working in a cohesive way toward college-wide goals to best serve the students and campus community.
- Lead and attend meetings with key campus partners regarding Buntrock events, space and auxiliary services.
- Supervise and coordinate the staff and activities of the Buntrock Office and Auxiliary Operations.
- Create a strategic vision for the work of the Buntrock Office and Auxiliary Services.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, establish performance standards, and evaluate the Buntrock Commons Coordinator, Mail Services, Print Center Employees, and student staff.
- Promote professional development for staff and provide team-building activities.
- Provide leadership and oversight for projects being carried out by Buntrock and Auxiliary staff.
- Approve staff credit card statements, time worked, and paid time off.
- Other Duties.

- Complete and meet deadlines for required training and performance management cycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received and Exercised:
- Reports to the Vice President for Student Life.
- This position supervises staff and student workers.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 2+ years management experience or relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience and experience managing diverse operations.
Prerequisites:
