
Deputy Chief of Accounting
The Ohio Department of Development is seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking accounting leader to serve as our next Deputy Chief of Accounting. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Experience in governmental accounting, cash management, grant management, or treasury operations.
Proficiency with financial management systems such as OAKS, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM platforms.
Ability to analyze and reconcile complex financial data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Previous supervisory experience required.
This position requires you to work in the office Monday-Friday with flexibility in starting and ending times. The job is located in the Vern Riffe building, 77 South High St. Columbus, OH 43215
