Salary range: $7,075.83 - $9,711.92 per month
**Preference will be given to those with a strong AG, C&I lending background.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Credit Underwriter II conducts detailed financial analysis in assessing commercial business requests for working capital lines, equipment and commercial real estate. In conjunction with the credit management, position leads the approval process and ensures appropriate credit structure, conditions, and loan covenants, in a timely manner with limited direction which best meets the member’s needs while safeguarding the Credit Union from loss. This position will also call on members and prospects in partnership with banking officers as required.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration required. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
Job Experience Minimum of five years’ commercial credit underwriting experience in all areas including commercial real estate, C&I, and SBA. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex or layered entity borrowing structures using various analytical approaches to determine cash flow including UCA, Traditional, and NOI.
Software Skills Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams. Previous experience with loan origination software is required. Experience with nCino’s Loan Origination System, Salesforce, and Finastra’s Phoenix are a plus.
Other Skills Strong interpersonal skills, including maintaining positive relationships, attention to detail, critical thinking, individual decision making, business acumen, & loan structuring.
Physical Demands Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 10 pounds with accommodations.
Work Conditions Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
