
Customer Service Associates play a key role in delivering exceptional service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role involves processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our computerized systems. In addition, the successful candidate will be cross-trained to perform cashier duties, providing flexibility and support across the front-end operations.
This position is part-time with the potential for up to full-time hours based on business needs.
Process customer transactions, sales, and refunds through cash registers
Operate scanners and credit card/debit card terminals
Provide excellent customer service
Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
Maintain front end department merchandise
Answering front desk phone and directing calls
Assist other departments and functions as required
Able to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders
Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Customer satisfaction-oriented
Strong communication and time management skills
Problem solving and decision making
Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset
Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 4 hours, lift medium size merchandise if required up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work a variable shift schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends as per business needs.
