Internship - Human Resources, Toronto Office

Human Resources

• Provide administrative support across core HR functions including onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, and employee documentation
• Prepare employment letters and support employee documentation requests
• Perform systems data verification to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Process HR-related invoices and maintain proper documentation
• Assist with onboarding logistics and preparation for retail and corporate hires
• Help track and update headcount reports, org charts, and HR dashboards
• Assist with HR projects and engagement initiatives that support company culture and DEIB efforts
• Support Health & Safety initiatives, including documentation and tracking safety metrics
• Contribute to the creation of HR tools and resources for store teams

Experience

Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a college/university degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Ability to work primarily on-site in an office environment, with occasional visits to retail stores

Desired:

• Previous internship or co-op experience in HR, retail, or corporate environments
• Interest in pursuing a CHRP designation
• Fluency in French language 
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data

The hiring range for this position ranges from $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experiences.
