Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key accounts across the country/region.
This role focuses on driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning account strategies with CooperVision’s business objectives.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Travel Requirements
Frequent travel across the market. Occasional international travel - 10-15%
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage complex accounts and influence stakeholders.
Data to Insights into Action: Uses analytical skills to take data, information& knowledge to form powerful insights that are used to identify and realise joint value creation
Category & Thought Leadership: applies category development principles in proposals to create category growth and thought leadership initiatives with customers
Customer Planning & Execution: develops & executes with excellence joint business plans that leverage CVI and customer assets to deliver joint value for both parties
Business Ownership & Stewardship: Takes commercial decisions as though it is your own business, leveraging CBT in line with company stewardship guidelines and business objectives
Partnership, Selling & Negotiation: creates indispensable partnerships working collaboratively to create joint value by leveraging robust sales & negotiation skills
Ecommerce & Omnichannel: understands future digital landscape, builds ecom expertise and applies knowledge to create joint value across the omnichannel and pureplay customers
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
