Working closely with executives, project teams and operational leaders, the Associate Director, Financial Planning and Analysis provides practical financial insight that helps the business make confident, informed decisions. The role leads bottom‑up budgeting, forecasting and reporting, translates complex data into clear narratives, and works hands‑on with stakeholders to align financial management with organisational priorities, often in a fast‑paced environment with competing demands and tight timeframes.
Beyond the core FP&A remit, the role plays a critical commercial leadership role for the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF). This includes shaping revenue models and pricing strategies, maintaining a five‑year business plan, delivering quarterly forecasts and variance analysis, overseeing activity‑based costing, supporting inventory and financial controls, preparing statutory and management accounts, and acting as the key finance contact for audit.
Operating as a hybrid financial leader and commercial manager, the role provides trusted, on‑site commercial advice that supports business growth, manages risk and underpins the long‑term financial viability and success of AMRF.
