About this role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Component Structural Simulation Engineer with a
minimum of 3 years of experience in finite element (FE) analysis and structural simulation. The
ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading solvers and strong skills in FE model
building using ANSA.
Requirements
Degree/ Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / automobile engineering or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Component Structural (Stiffness/strength/durability/vibration/ crash) simulations.
- Proficiency in at least one solver: Nastran, Abaqus, nCode, or OptiStruct.
- Strong skills in FE model creation using ANSA.
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Generate feasibility design recommendations and implement design change to achieve performances and conduct optimization for saving cost and weight.
- Able to work under high pressure in a startup environment.
- Detail-oriented
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Efficient teamwork skills.
- Ability to deliver clear and concise presentations/reports.
- Good knowledge in Automotive systems and understanding of FEM.
- A good understanding of Stiffness/strength/durability/vibration analysis principles.
- Metal/ Plastic material science knowledge.
- Manufacturing knowledge/ testing process and design perspective are added advantage
