RICEFW Technologies Inc is seeking a Business Analyst specializing in Child Support to enhance the user interface of the SC Child Support Application. The role involves analyzing workflows, proposing enhancements, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve financial processes within the application.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the State Functional Manager and Business Analysts to identify areas for improvement within PACSS and deliver practical, actionable recommendations
- Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points
- Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with South Carolina business requirements
- Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities within PACSS
- Design self-guiding workflows, including guided navigation, tooltips, and contextual assistance, for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments
- Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards, contextual help, and automated guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs
- Conduct stakeholder interviews as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of South Carolina business processes
- Collaborate with other Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and provide general assistance during testing activities
- Participate in regular functional meetings focused on user-reported issues, enhancements, and bug triage to review progress, discuss solutions, and align on priorities
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Financial Business Analyst in more than one Child Support Systems
- Experience working with financial operations (such as receipts, distribution, disbursements, recoupment, and/or reconciliation) in more than one Child Support System
- Experience in system designing and developing processes for complex workflows
- BS Degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non-technical staff, customers/stakeholders (State and Federal) and executives
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager
- Experience with SQL query skills to extract, validate and interpret data for decision making
- Experience with SharePoint
