About this role
Ampstek is a company seeking a Platform Engineer with expertise in Snowflake. The role involves administering and optimizing large-scale enterprise Snowflake environments, including governance and automation using Python.
Responsibilities:
- Having strong working experience in Snowflake Platform Engineering with Databricks and Python
- Hands on experience administering, securing, and optimizing largescale enterprise Snowflake environments, including governance, authentication, network policies, CICD automation and end to end automation for Snowflake Platform Monitoring using Python
- Exp in Snowflake features like clustering, cloning, warehouses etc
- Exp in Netezza migration to Snowflake
- Exp in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Partitioning, Backup/Recovery strategies
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience
- Strong working experience in Snowflake Platform Engineering
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Python
- Hands on experience administering, securing, and optimizing large-scale enterprise Snowflake environments
- Experience with governance, authentication, network policies, CICD automation
- Experience with end to end automation for Snowflake Platform Monitoring using Python
- Experience in Snowflake features like clustering, cloning, warehouses
- Experience in Netezza migration to Snowflake
