The Business Analyst (Lead to Cash) will bridge process expertise and technical delivery on Lead to Cash transformation projects, working directly with client stakeholders to map customer journeys and document business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for Lead to Cash transformations (opportunity management, quoting, contracting, order management, billing, revenue recognition)
- Conduct process discovery sessions and map current-state and future-state customer journeys across the revenue lifecycle
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or standardization in Lead to Cash workflows
- Document business rules, process flows, and functional specifications in formats accessible to both business users and technical teams
- Partner with solution architects and developers to translate business requirements into system design and configuration specifications
- Support the design of CRM, CPQ, ERP, and billing system integrations to enable seamless Lead to Cash orchestration
- Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for development teams
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure solutions align with business objectives and process requirements
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on documented business requirements and process flows
- Execute functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that system configurations meet business needs
- Use testing tools (e.g., Postman for API testing, Jira for defect tracking) to document issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams
- Support client-side UAT efforts by training business users on testing protocols and tracking their feedback
- Act as a liaison between client business units, IT teams, and TechTorch delivery managers
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on process definitions, system scope, and implementation timelines
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively to internal and client stakeholders
- Support change management activities by documenting training materials, process guides, and end-user documentation
- Collaborate with delivery managers to track workstream progress, manage dependencies, and ensure milestone completion
- Maintain project artifacts including requirements traceability matrices, decision logs, and issue trackers
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of Agile delivery teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned and best practices for future engagements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of consulting experience, ideally from a top-tier firm such as Accenture (Song group or similar Lead to Cash practice), Deloitte, EY, or KPMG
- Demonstrable exposure to Lead to Cash, Quote to Cash, or related revenue process transformation projects
- Experience supporting CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics), CPQ (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ), or ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) implementations is a strong asset
- Familiarity with functional consulting methodologies that blend process design and technical implementation
- Working understanding of SDLC concepts and how business requirements flow through design, development, and testing phases
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman for API testing, Jira for test case management)
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro) and business documentation
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for analysis and stakeholder presentations
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence
- Solid understanding of Lead to Cash processes: opportunity-to-quote, quote-to-order, order-to-cash, billing, and revenue recognition
- Ability to translate business process requirements into system functionality and test scenarios
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
