Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

Files.com is a profitable, founder-led SaaS company powering secure file transfer and automation for over 4,000 brands. They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and build scalable, resilient infrastructure systems that support their core product capabilities, emphasizing automation, security, and high-impact engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure that powers core product capabilities at scale
• Build proprietary solutions (sync engines, observability pipelines, DNS management systems) that differentiate Files.com
• Engineer infrastructure for speed, resilience, and maintainability across high-volume, distributed workloads
• Implement security layers, access control, and compliance automation without adding developer friction
• Reduce manual operations to zero by improving automation with Terraform, Chef, and related tools
• Participate in on-call rotations for routine infrastructure events, while building systems that reduce incidents long-term
• Contribute to patterns, runbooks, and best practices that keep the team productive and efficient
