Viral Nation specializes in building social-first ecosystems for brands to connect with the modern consumer journey. They are seeking a Strategist, Performance Marketing to conceptualize and build paid media strategies and implement optimization strategies for various clients, leveraging extensive knowledge of paid media and the latest trends.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in campaign development, deployment tactics, and proactive strategic paid media planning
- Performing qualitative market research and directing quantitative research when required
- Work with clients to develop performance marketing strategies to reach their wider company objectives
- Able to lead strategic discussions and provide clear recommendations and documents with minimal direction or supervision. Able to present internally and to clients with confidence and clarity
- Demonstrate a good understanding of paid marketing practices on Meta, TikTok, Google and other platforms
- Work closely with media buyers, accounts teams and external agencies to ensure smooth campaign execution, which includes client onboarding, budget pacing, campaign monitoring and traffic sheet development
- Exhibit effective project management skills working closely with team to prepare reports for clients as needed in relations to ongoing campaigns
- Effectively work within account budget parameters and assist with budget management
- Writing is clear and succinct
- Experience creating Paid Media Playbooks and Paid Media best practice protocols
- Identify, analyze and present gaps and opportunities in paid media plans for new & existing clients
- Ability to decipher information using data & measurement tools
- Involvement in new business pitch presentations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience with paid media strategy and/or execution, and social media platforms
- Experience and a deep understanding of paid media practices on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, and Twitter
- Experience and familiarity with Paid Search and Programmatic advertising
- Ability to translate direction from internal leadership and external clients into paid media strategies and deliverables
- Strong presentation skills, confident speaker, with the ability to tactfully manage client relations; balanced with an eagerness to learn and humility with your craft
- Ability and experience in developing and executing successful client campaigns
- Ability to seek constant improvement and fill gaps to ultimately deliver best results to our clients
- Responsive and available to meet the demands of clients across multiple time zones
- Proficiency with ad management platforms and paid media analytical tools
- Must have a university degree, or college diploma, in a relevant field such as marketing, business, public relations, communications, and/or have equivalent work experience
- Experience creating Paid Media Playbooks and Paid Media best practice protocols
