Hadrian is a company focused on building autonomous factories for aerospace and defense manufacturing. The Corporate Development Analyst will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions to support the company's mission to transform American manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of acquisition targets across the aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing ecosystem
- Conduct proactive market mapping to identify strategic opportunities aligned with our technology roadmap and growth strategy
- Develop relationships with investment bankers, advisors, and industry executives to generate inbound deal flow
- Track competitive M&A activity and industry trends to inform our strategic positioning
- Build detailed financial models to evaluate acquisition targets, including DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, and accretion/dilution scenarios
- Conduct preliminary valuation analysis and develop investment thesis memos for leadership review
- Support due diligence workstreams including financial, operational, and commercial analysis
- Prepare board-level materials summarizing deal rationale, risks, and financial impact
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence teams across finance, legal, product, and operations
- Manage data room setup and organization, ensuring all stakeholders have access to critical information
- Support negotiation processes by preparing analysis and scenario modeling as deal terms evolve
- Track deal timelines and key milestones to ensure efficient execution from LOI to close
- Partner with operations teams to develop Day 1 integration plans for acquired companies
- Support post-close value capture initiatives and track integration progress against key metrics
- Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of our M&A playbook
