Field Services Engineer I (Remote)

dormakaba is seeking a remote Field Service Engineer based in the US. The Field Service Engineer I is responsible for visiting various job sites throughout North America troubleshooting issues and installing electromechanical devices that are crucial to the security of airports and other critical infrastructure facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule site visits and other tasks
• Install and service dormakaba electromechanical devices, including afterhours emergency services
• Project a customer service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and communication with all customers
• Write detailed technical reports and maintain accurate records for each job site
• Train others to use necessary equipment to perform job and ensures proper adherence to safety requirements at facilities
• Maintain tools and ensure equipment is in good working order

Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time and able to internationally travel as needed
• High School diploma
• The ability to gain a security clearance at critical infrastructure and government facilities
• Mechanical Skills with the ability to read complex schematics and wiring
• Ability to lift 60+ pounds
• Associates degree
