WHAT CAN RELIAS OFFER YOU?
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to collaborate with product management, and engineering from initial research and product definition through concepting, detailed design, prototyping, user testing, and implementation. In this role, you will be designing intuitive, mobile-first workflows for modules for an Employee Engagement platform.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to develop a shared vision and lead a process to define and design experiences, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, that deliver on shared objectives.
• Lead discovery with clinical personas; map top tasks and journey pain points.
• Design accessible, mobile-first flows; optimize ergonomics (glanceable UI, thumb-reachable controls, limited typing, clear microcopy).
• Deliver Manager Dashboards with risk heatmaps, action centers and other indicators for the Employee Engagement platform.
• Be accountable for strategic research, design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features.
• Independently lead user research efforts, including both qualitative (e.g., interviews, usability testing) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, usage data, A/B tests) methods; synthesize findings into actionable insights that inform design priorities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and needs to keep teams aligned and bought into the product design vision and keep deliverables on track.
• Provide and seek out feedback from peers across the organization to advocate for UX and improve your own skills
• As part of your leadership growth, share your knowledge: collaborate with other designers, speak on UX topics, and/or proactively educate others.

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute from the Raleigh/Durham airport area). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
