Serigraph, we are looking for a high-energy Working Supervisor with a true “player-coach” mentality to anchor our production floor. This role is built for a leader who thrives in a hands-on environment—someone who leads by example while driving performance, accountability, and teamwork. With 5+ years of experience guiding teams of 5–15 operators, you will serve as the catalyst behind our daily production success, combining technical expertise with strong leadership to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency remain at the forefront of everything we do.
Working Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Maintain a high personal production rate while coordinating the daily activities of 5–15 operators to ensure hourly targets are consistently met or exceeded. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and “player-coach” leadership style on the production floor.
- Operational Excellence: Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction strategies, to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and maximize operational performance.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as the first-line responder for mechanical and process issues. Diagnose bottlenecks and implement real-time solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Team Development & Accountability: Act as the primary point of contact for the production team, providing side-by-side coaching, reinforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring team members understand performance expectations and acceptable quality levels. Train, update, and enforce procedures as required.
- Quality & Production Oversight: Monitor shift metrics and implement immediate corrective actions to maintain consistent product quality and output. All co-workers responsible for quality have the authority to stop production to correct concerns. Inform management of any products and/or processes that do not conform to requirements.
Who we are looking for in a Working Supervisor
- 5+ years of experience leading teams of 5–15 operators.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understands departmental procedures and policies
- Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices
