As a Junior Account Manager – Publishers (Spain), you will support the management and growth of relationships with Spanish-speaking publishers.
Working closely with senior members of the Publisher Success team, you will help ensure strong performance, efficient issue resolution, and a consistently high-quality publisher experience.
This role combines account coordination, performance monitoring, and operational support, providing hands-on exposure to the publisher monetization ecosystem.
You will collaborate with internal teams including Publisher Sales, Technical Account Managers, AdTech, Product, and Finance to support publisher success and operational execution.
This position is ideal for someone early in their AdTech or digital advertising career who wants to develop strong account management and publisher monetization expertise.
Support senior Account Managers in managing day-to-day relationships with publisher partners.
Assist with publisher communication via email, messaging, and calls to ensure timely responses and clear follow-up.
Maintain organized account records and communication history.
Monitor publisher performance metrics and dashboards.
Help identify performance trends, anomalies, and potential optimization opportunities.
Prepare performance summaries and reports for internal and publisher-facing discussions.
Help track and coordinate publisher issues with internal teams.
Ensure tickets and requests are properly documented and followed through until resolution.
Provide clear updates when needed to maintain transparency with partners.
Support the implementation and coordination of monetization setups and configuration changes.
Assist with campaign monitoring and ad server tasks where required.
Ensure internal workflows and operational processes are followed accurately.
Work closely with AdTech, Product, and Technical teams to support operational tasks and publisher requests.
Share relevant publisher feedback and insights with internal teams.
Participate in publisher calls and meetings alongside senior Account Managers.
Support preparation of account updates, performance reviews, and reporting materials.
Develop a strong understanding of the publisher monetization ecosystem and Refinery89’s technology.
• Acknowledge messages or tickets as soon as possible.
• Ensure issues are properly tracked and followed through.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with publishers and internal teams.
• Maintain organized follow-up and close the loop once issues are resolved.
• Be proactive in identifying potential issues early.
• Native or fluent Spanish, with medium to high proficiency in English.
• 1–2 years of experience in digital advertising, AdTech, publishing, or account management.
• Basic hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) or similar ad servers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret performance metrics.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting publisher accounts or digital advertising campaigns.
• Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts and monetization workflows.
• Experience using dashboards or reporting tools.
The interview process for this role consists of four stages:

Video call with members of the Publisher Success team.
3️⃣ Second interview
Video call with the Hiring Manager and/or senior stakeholders.
4️⃣ Final interview
In-person meeting with the Hiring Manager and key team members.
