
SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and internal reporting processes. This role is responsible for managing account reconciliations, month-end close procedures, assisting with audits, and supporting AP/AR functions. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform mid-level general ledger account reconciliations and data verification.
Identify and correct accounting discrepancies and reporting errors.
Drive month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain financial accuracy and process efficiency.
Assist with external audits, annual reviews, and related documentation requests.
Develop and document internal accounting processes and procedures.
Support evaluation and enhancement of internal controls.
Provide cross-functional support in accounts payable and accounts receivable when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service-based industry.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Pro or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving requirements.
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships across departments.
Experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
