As a Product Owner within our Global Employer Services (GES) team, you will play a critical role in leading product management function for key areas of the business including end user experience. You will be accountable for driving strategy and roadmap for key areas of Products and Solution. A technical and passionate product leader to help drive the evolution of our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute on vision, strategy, business case, long-term and short-term roadmaps for specific areas of the products platform.
- Working with colleagues, teams in various countries to manage our multi-country deployed Product.
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with Designers, Architects, Engineering leaders, CTO office, and other product leaders across the company.
- Understand deeply how the Product is used by customers for solving different business problems and create and build roadmaps to reflect objectives of greater customer satisfaction and long-term scalability of the platform.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the technology trends in the industry as well as competitor products.
- Meet regularly with customers, client sales and delivery teams and other relevant teams to understand the needs and requirements for the platform.
- Use Agile methodology to continuously improve every aspect of our product development process within the wider business context.
- Write requirements, user stories and product definitions
- Perform backlog grooming, prioritize user stories and features and ensure alignment on priorities across the key stakeholders.
- Ensure execution of backlogs, from inception and validation with business sponsors, through to deployment production and benefits measurement
- Define metrics for success, including platform performance, uptime, NPS and work with product leadership to determine accountability for meeting strategic goals.
- Management track: Experienced and effective leadership, people management, budgetary, forecasting and planning responsibilities.
Let's talk about you
To qualify for the role, you must demonstrate skills and experience in the following:
- 10+ years managing products (experience in a SaaS/Cloud environment a must)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in high growth enterprise software companies
- Experience in building great user experiences for business users of enterprise solutions.
- Experience developing and detailing software product requirements, building implementation plans, and leading teams to deliver.
- Hands-on experience with Agile software development lifecycle management tools, preferably Azure DevOps or alternatively Jira
- Hands-on experience in direct people management
- Good understanding of agile software development methodologies.
- Experience running a dynamic product prioritization process and knowledgeable of best practice release processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and build consensus across a broad range of backgrounds, organizational levels and personalities.
- Self-starter, able to work independently.
- Good communication skills and capable of working with customers and internal staff.
- Experience of managing stakeholders to executive levels.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder relationship and business engagement and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English. Dutch and/or French is an asset.
