Software Project Management Intern

Calix is looking for a Software Project Management Intern to join their Program Management Team within the Intelligent Access Edge Products organization for the summer months. The successful candidate will assist in tracking and maintaining project data, preparing reports, and participating in project reviews while developing skills in various software tools.

Responsibilities:

• Review project and bug status data
• Work with assignees to ensure up to date and accurate
• Prepare status slides and/or live dashboard-based reports
• Drive product specification reviews
• Prepare and update wiki-based project plans
• Participate in cross functional project reviews, capture status, and action items

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Knowledge of software development and program management principles
• Well, organized with attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence in communicating and working with subject matter experts
• Highly motivated and desire to learn in a fast-paced company
• Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September)
• Preference will be given to students who have completed their Junior or Senior years and who have previous internship or work experience
