The Solutions Engineer is a post-sales, execution-focused role responsible for supporting healthcare implementations by bridging technical gaps between Program Management, product, and engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Support post‑sales customer implementations by providing hands‑on technical guidance throughout delivery, with a primary focus on healthcare prior authorization workflows
- Conduct client-facing meetings and product demonstrations with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to scaling delivery operations by helping package and standardize implementation approaches so contracts can be delivered more efficiently at volume
- Act as a bridge between delivery teams, product, and engineering, helping translate customer requirements into delivery‑ready, scalable solutions
- Provide practical expertise in FHIR APIs, supporting the growing volume of FHIR‑based contracts that represent the team’s highest delivery and revenue priority
- Collaborate with Product Management on custom requests and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across multiple payer clients, ensuring on-time delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3+ years in a client-facing solution design role, building strong internal and external relationships
- 3+ years working on projects or contracts greater than $1,000,000 ACV
- 5+ years of experience in technology consulting, technical implementation, or solutions delivery—healthcare experience required, specifically in the prior authorization space. Only candidates with prior authorizations experience will be considered
- Strong technical acumen: Must be well versed in X12 and FHIR
- Ability to articulate product features and translate payer requirements into scalable solutions
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills with an understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business and technical documentation
- Proven ability to deliver in time-sensitive engagements and adapt to changing priorities
- Technical aptitude with healthcare workflows, high-volume transactions, and emerging technologies
- Knowledge and expertise with healthcare data standards such as EDI, X12, FHIR, and APIs
- Knowledge of health plan systems and payer operations
- Experience delivering enterprise SaaS solutions
- Working knowledge of Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Azure DevOps, Salesforce, or similar tools
