Packetlabs is a cybersecurity company founded by an ethical hacker, dedicated to providing thorough penetration testing services. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate and qualify potential clients through strategic outreach and relationship building, while leveraging insights from industry trends and company data to enhance sales effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business by generating and qualifying leads through strategic outbound prospecting using email, LinkedIn, phone, and social selling
- Craft outreach that is so personalized, relevant, and insightful that it is too hard to ignore
- Leverage investor reports, strategy documents, and company earnings calls to create messaging that resonates with executive buyers
- Engage decision-makers and build relationships through consultative selling approaches
- Book and qualify meetings using the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) framework
- Work closely with Account Executives to understand won business, the factors that drove the deal, and how the client achieved success
- Use insights from won deals to identify and source similar clients in related industries or with shared pain points
- Track key performance metrics such as response rates, meetings set, and opportunities created. Log all activity in our CRM
- Continuously refine outreach strategies based on data, coaching, and market feedback
- Stay informed about cybersecurity trends to have relevant conversations with CISOs, IT leaders, and security professionals
- Learn, understand, and embrace the culture and core values of Packetlabs
Requirements:
- Two or more years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or similar outbound sales roles
- A proven track record of exceeding lead generation and meeting-setting goals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive messaging across LinkedIn, email, and phone
- Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools

- Top Performer: You have a proven sales development track record with at least two years of experience in similar roles
