Epic Healthcare - Senior Data Analyst

Mercy is a healthcare organization seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making. This role involves partnering with stakeholders to address business challenges through advanced analytics, transforming data into actionable insights, and ensuring data governance and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align analytics solutions with business objectives
• Perform advanced analytics, including statistical modeling, forecasting, and AI-driven insights
• Leverage Databricks AI and Databricks Agent to automate workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making
• Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations that communicate complex insights clearly and effectively
• Collaborate with engineering and data platform teams to ensure proper data access and governance
• Identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies for improved business outcomes

Requirements:

• Strong experience in data analytics and business analysis
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks, including Databricks Agent and AI/ML capabilities
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and actionable insights
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience applying them to real-world problems will be required
• Education: Degree(s) in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, technology or related field experience
• Experience: Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience or knowledge in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical field, with a proven ability to deliver insights that influence strategic decision-making
• Experience with cloud-based Azure data platform
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance and security practices
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams
