Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Cline is the leading open-source AI coding agent, trusted by major engineering organizations and developers. They are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for building and scaling infrastructure that supports AI inference pipelines and backend APIs, while also influencing technical strategy and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and operate scalable, low-latency infrastructure for LLM inference, caching, and distributed APIs
• Build highly reliable and observable systems—defining SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs for core services
• Drive cloud infrastructure strategy (AWS/GCP/Azure), including networking, security, and cost optimization
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and developer productivity tooling to accelerate shipping velocity
• Collaborate with engineers to productionize AI models and optimize resource utilization (GPU scheduling, autoscaling)
• Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and resiliency across systems
• At the senior level: mentor engineers, lead cross-functional technical projects, and contribute to long-term infrastructure roadmap
