About this role
TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a focus on database technologies. The role involves creating software deployment strategies, automating database infrastructure, and building a production-ready Kubernetes platform to support future growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Building and configuring Kubernetes clusters
- Implementing observability with Grafana dashboards and metrics
- Writing Terraform scripts for infrastructure automation
- Collaborating with platform lead and other engineers
- Later in the year: Developing edge compute solutions and container images for deployment to restaurants
Requirements:
- Kubernetes (building and productionalizing a Kubernetes stack)
- Terraform (infrastructure as code for automation)
- Grafana (observability dashboards and metrics)
- DevOps experience (CI/CD pipelines, automation)
- AWS expertise (preferred), but GCP or Azure acceptable
- Edge computing experience
