About this role
Milliman is a respected consultancy that develops data-driven SaaS products for various clients in the insurance and health IT sectors. As a Product Designer at Milliman IntelliScript, you will design innovative solutions for their platforms, collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to create user-centered experiences that deliver value to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Work through all phases of the design process – from research and discovery to prototyping, validation, and final delivery
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and ensure high-quality outcomes
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate insights into intuitive designs that solve real user problems
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
- Help maintain and evolve our design systems and processes for consistency and efficiency
- Champion user-centered design across the organization and advocate for best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant product design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Customer-focused mindset and a passion for solving user problems
- Continued education and/or advanced degree(s)
- Product design experience within SaaS or technology organizations
- Experience in environments subject to HIPAA and/or PCI regulations
- Experience with cloud-based products (AWS, Azure, GCP)
