The Design Manager will lead a team to enhance the Platform and Productivity experiences by turning complex multi-channel problems into intuitive designs and championing customer-centric decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a small team of Sr. Designers through complex omni-channel experiences
- Creating the conditions for exceptional work by fostering psychological safety, inspiring ambition, and modeling design excellence
- Championing craft and product excellence through leading by example
- Enabling customer-centric decision making, keeping small business owners at the heart of every decision
- Mapping and analyzing current-state workflows to identify friction points, operational gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Weaving together physical, digital, and emotional touchpoints across our support and growth channels, orchestrating multi-touch journeys that elevate both the digital and non-digital experiences
- Build products that help wellness professionals thrive and encourage more people to get off their screens and into meaningful real-life experiences
Requirements:
- You have at least 7+ years of product design experience including 1-2 years managing designers
- You have a portfolio demonstrating deep craft and end-to-end product thinking on complex systems and workflows
- Want to work in a player/coach role. You want to continue owning design projects while leading a small team of talented designers
- You thrive on complexity and love to dive into broad, deep, and complex problem spaces
- You believe the line is blurry between product and design leadership and jump at opportunities to lead your cross-functional team through ambiguity
- Strong in product thinking: you can form rigorous hypotheses, influence team understanding, and spot new opportunities. You have an ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative insights and translate them into actionable recommendations
- You have an evolving perspective on design's role in AI, automation, and emerging technologies - and how these can enhance creative output and customer value. You see AI as a partner in creativity and efficiency
- Strong understanding of organizational operations and service delivery models, particularly in multi-touchpoint or omni-channel environments
- You've driven strategic initiatives before, and you're just as comfortable zooming out to define vision as you are zooming in to sweat the details
