
The Regional System Steering Specialist is responsible for regional ownership of the Deficit Action Plan (DAP), including forecast, cost, and capacity assumptions. The primary duty is non-manual work directly related to business operations and financial performance. The role exercises independent judgment and discretion on matters of operational and economic significance, including approval, modification, and rejection of system-driven proposals that impact regional cost, capacity, and execution strategy.
• Own and validate regional DAP inputs (forecast, capacity, cost, scheduling assumptions)
• Evaluate and approve or adjust weekly DAP proposals based on financial and operational impact
• Determine regional steering parameters within global framework
• Assess cost exposure and execution risk and implement corrective actions
• Lead cross-functional alignment with Sales, TMCC, Procurement, and Flow Planning teams
• Represent regional interests in system development and governance discussions
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of logistics container shipping or network planning experience
• Demonstrated authority in analytical decision-making impacting financial results
