
The Department of Health, Sport, and Human Physiology is seeking a Research Assistant with phlebotomy skills to work in the Microvascular Physiology Lab under the direction of Professor Anna Stanhewicz. The lab conducts research to understand the mechanisms underlying increased cardiovascular and metabolic disease risk in human research participants. The Research Assistant will work with the research team, including other research staff and graduate and undergraduate students, to assist in conducting research projects in the mechanisms of microvascular dysfunction. This is a two-year specified term position with the possibility of extension for up to one additional year. The position is anticipated to begin in mid-to-late April.

This is a 100% on-site position on the University of Iowa campus.
