Description:
This role provides technical support across enterprise networks, systems, and end-user environments spanning offices, venues, and event locations. The position ensures reliable network connectivity, stable systems infrastructure, and responsive desktop support for staff and personnel, supporting both day-to-day operations and event activities. Responsibilities include front-line troubleshooting, routine administration, and operational support of networks, servers, and systems platforms to maintain secure, high-availability services that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor enterprise network performance and availability across offices, venues, and remote sites. Manage and support enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity. Perform troubleshooting for network outages, latency, and connectivity issues.
- Provide end-user support for Windows and macOS devices. Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices. Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues for end users.
- Monitor and support on-perm and virtual server environments.
- Perform system administration tasks (user accounts, permissions, services, patching). Support identity and access systems (Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO).
- Assist with backups, restores, and basic disaster recovery tasks.
- Respond to incidents and service requests via ticketing systems.
- Follow change management, security, and compliance procedures.
- Document network diagrams, configurations, incidents, and standard operating procedures. Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Support conference rooms, AV equipment, printers, and collaboration tools.
- Assist with endpoint management tools.
- Support onboarding/offboarding of employees.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1–3 years of professional experience in network administration, IT support, or enterprise infrastructure roles.
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting).
- Knowledge of enterprise networking hardware and wireless networking (Cisco, Extreme, Aruba, or similar).
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience using monitoring, alerting, and ticketing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with Windows and macOS desktop environments and knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
- Understanding of endpoint security and access control best practices.
- Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, event-driven environments.
- Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and on-call support, especially during events.
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Combination of office, data center, venue, and on-site troubleshooting environments
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and endpoint management tools is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise, venue, or event-based IT environments is preferred.
