Office Assistant

The Office Assistant is responsible for scheduling patient appointments for Primary Care Clinic. Also responsible for answering the telephones, greeting patients, obtaining insurance pre-certifications, scanning and obtaining medical records, scheduling appointments with specialists, and entering patient charges with billing information. Ability to use various information technology systems, including Office Practicum, Internet, Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent customer service and service recovery skills. Two (2) years of previous medical office experience required.
