Designation: Specialist
Base Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai
Reporting to: Assistant Manager/Manager - GSC Freight Forwarding Operations
Key Role Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end pricing operations for Export & Import (FCL/LCL) across the globe.
Assist in managing RFQs, rate negotiations, and carrier interactions to ensure competitive pricing.
Coordinate with sales teams to provide timely, cost-effective quotations for customer queries.
Liaise with overseas agents and vendors for international pricing and service optimization.
Analyze procurement data to optimize costs, improve lead times, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance teams to align procurement with customer demands and financial objectives.
Participate in rate filing and contract negotiations with shipping lines.
Maintain and update pricing databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements in pricing workflow.
Adheres to the best practices of the centralized team complying with rules.
Skills & Competencies:
5+ years of experience in pricing or operations within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
Strong understanding of Ocean & Air Freight operations (Export & Import).
Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis experience
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Advanced Excel and pricing management tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
