Act as the single point of coordination for all MEP‑related activities across brand technical services, AOC project teams, consultants, contractors, and the Hospitality Division.
Ensure all MEP designs integrate brand guidelines, operational workflows, safety norms, and sustainability objectives.
Lead structured design review meetings with well‑defined minutes, action trackers, and deliverables monitoring.
2. MEP Design Oversight
Review, validate, and approve all design stages (Concept, Schematic, DD, GFC) for compliance with:
Brand technical standards
Local codes and statutory norms
Operational efficiency, maintainability, and guest‑experience requirements
Detect design gaps proactively and drive timely resolution with consultants and contractors.
3. Coordination With Hotel Operators & Brand Technical Teams
Manage all technical interactions with brand technical services regarding MEP standards, equipment selection, HVAC strategies, BOH layouts, kitchen & laundry coordination, fire & life safety, water systems, and sustainability requirements.
Evaluate operator‑requested changes for technical feasibility, cost impact, project timelines, and integration challenges before approval.
4. Site Execution, Quality Control & Technical Support
Provide on‑site oversight during installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of all MEP systems.
Verify installation quality and readiness against approved designs, brand standards, and best practices.
Address RFIs, deviations, and technical issues with timely resolution.
Support snagging, de‑snagging, system testing, and final commissioning activities.
Ensure all MEP works comply with Adani Group safety protocols, risk‑management frameworks, ESG commitments, and quality benchmarks.
Guide project teams through statutory approvals, inspections, and MEP‑related certification processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design registers, compliance trackers, approval logs, and commissioning reports.
6. Budget Management & Value Engineering
Review BOQs, technical specifications, and vendor proposals for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Recommend value‑engineering options that reduce cost without compromising performance or brand expectations.
Track cost variations arising from design changes and provide periodic budget insights, risk assessments, and technical updates to the Head – Project Design & Development.
Monitor MEP design progress against overall project milestones.
7. Handover & Pre‑Opening Support
Ensure seamless transition of MEP systems from project delivery to hotel pre‑opening teams.
Support operator teams with system training, documentation, testing, and operational readiness checks.
Assist in achieving final brand certifications and pre‑opening readiness audits.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related field.
Desirable / Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Building Services or MEP Engineering, or an equivalent advanced qualification.
Work Experience Requirements
Total Experience: 8–14 years in MEP design management within sectors such as hospitality, mixed‑use developments, luxury residential, or commercial real estate.
Relevant Experience: Minimum of 12 years of hands‑on experience in MEP-related roles.
Preferred Organizational Background
Experience working with real estate organizations, particularly within the hospitality segment, or exposure to international hotel brands.
