Billing Engineer

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is a technology-driven organization focused on enterprise print automation and cost control systems. They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of enterprise cost and quota management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of enterprise cost and quota management systems
• Focus on building scalable financial control applications, payment gateway integrations, and usage tracking platforms that support enterprise and education environments
• Architect and deliver microservices-based solutions for quota allocation, budget enforcement, real-time usage monitoring, and chargeback systems

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience building cost management, billing, quota, or payment-integrated systems
• Strong proficiency in backend development using C++, Go, Python, or similar languages
• Frontend experience with Vue or comparable frameworks
• Experience integrating payment gateway APIs (Stripe, PayPal, Square, or similar)
• Experience building quota systems, usage tracking platforms, or bill-back/chargeback applications
• Strong relational database expertise (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Experience with AWS, Docker, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving ability in enterprise-scale environments
• Comfortable operating in an AI-native development environment leveraging AI-assisted engineering workflows
• Experience building REST or GraphQL APIs for financial system integrations
• Experience integrating with ERP or accounting platforms (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
• Background in education payment systems or print management platforms
• Experience with cost optimization models, usage-based pricing, or forecasting systems
• Strong data modeling and database optimization experience
• Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
