They are seeking a Patient Service Representative who will assist healthcare providers with insurance verifications, benefit inquiries, authorizations, and claims, ensuring accurate and timely information while delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for healthcare providers, assisting with insurance verifications, benefit inquiries, authorizations, and claims while ensuring accurate and timely information
- Support providers by answering questions related to coverage, benefits, and claim payments, using strong listening and problem-solving skills to deliver excellent service
- Help identify potential cost-saving opportunities and members who may require clinical intervention from Case Manager Nurses
- Provide clear benefit information, coordinate authorizations, and help remove barriers to care
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare involving claims processing, explanation of benefits (EOB), healthcare terminology, or provider support is required
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for helping others and delivering a positive service experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, utilize available resources, and adapt to evolving challenges
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable handling professional phone conversations and email correspondence
- Experience learning in a virtual environment (work or educational setting) is preferred
