BCD Travel is a global company that helps organizations travel smart and achieve more. They are seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives that advance their hotel growth strategy, ensuring cross-functional alignment and measurable progress toward hotel program goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of special projects tied to the hotel growth strategy
- Oversee and track initiatives across GDS Modernization, booking platform optimization, hotel marketing campaigns, operational improvements along with other strategic initiatives
- Conduct ongoing “health checks” of hotel initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities
- Partner with internal teams (Product Planning, Marketing, Customer Success) to ensure alignment on milestones and deliverables
- Facilitate productive meetings, capture and manage action items, and maintain strong communication throughout project lifecycles
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, dashboards, and progress reports for stakeholders and executive leadership
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear KPIs tied to hotel program growth
- Escalate issues and recommend solutions that keep projects moving forward
- Contribute to the development of best practices, processes, and tools that enhance project governance and team efficiency
- Support continuous improvement across the hotel vertical, ensuring BCD’s hotel offering meets the needs of various internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Prior project management experience, ideally in travel, hospitality, technology, or related industries (Experience with GDS, hotel distribution systems, or hotel e‑commerce platforms is a plus)
- Proven track record managing multi‑phase, cross‑functional initiatives
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights
- Proficiency in project management tools, ideally Jira and Smartsheet
- Background supporting marketing, product, or platform optimization projects is preferred, but not required
- PMP, Agile, or similar certification would be helpful in this role
