GreenState Credit Union is committed to creating lasting value for its members and communities. They are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex data solutions, particularly focusing on Microsoft Azure pipelines to support enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision
- Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times
- Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities
- Ensures confidentiality of member information
- Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Develops comprehensive data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Power BI and other tools
- Creates advanced data models and ETL processes across multiple enterprise systems
- Implements data governance and quality control mechanisms
- Designs and maintains complex data transformations using languages such as Python, Spark, SQL, M, DAX and more
- Develops, maintains and optimizes data solutions
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Performs advanced data cleansing and preparation techniques
- Supports performance optimization of business units’ solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
- Maintains excellent communication with the Credit Union team and the rest of the organization
- Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or credit union sponsored events, on an annual basis
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence
- Advanced proficiency in: ETL processes, specifically in Azure cloud services
- Power BI
- Python
- SQL
- Strong understanding of data modeling and warehouse design
- Experience with cloud data architectures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Financial services industry experience preferred
