Thumbtack is a company that helps millions of people confidently care for their homes. They are seeking a strategic and hands-on Growth Marketing Manager responsible for driving core performance and scaling Thumbtack’s Paid Social program, managing high-impact paid campaigns across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and efficiently scale Thumbtack’s Paid Social campaigns across platforms like Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit—driving incremental customer growth, while balancing positive contribution
- Responsible for in-house campaign management and optimizations—including budget pacing, bid optimization, creative iteration, audience segmentation, and platform best practices
- Build and implement Paid Social testing roadmaps with XFN partners, driving a continuous test-and-learn approach across audiences, creative, and platforms
- Identify and execute opportunities for channel expansion and scaling newer platforms
- Responsible for tracking, QA, reporting, and measurement for Paid Social, partnering with internal and third-party tools to ensure confidence in results
- Partner closely with analytics, product, and marketing tech teams to build automated tools for audience workflows, creative decisioning, campaign builds, and reporting
- Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams to develop and iterate thumb-stopping, performance-driven creative that also advances Thumbtack’s brand narrative
- Partner with external agency and platform relationships - pushing for innovation, unlocking new opportunities, and ensuring Thumbtack remains on the leading edge of social marketing
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience managing, scaling, and evolving paid social programs
- Proven success directly managing complex Paid Social campaigns and optimizations, including dynamic ads and AB tests
- Deep platform and technical expertise in Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms (dynamic ads, CAPI, etc)
- Strong analytical chops - experience with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups) and hands-on exposure to incrementality, A/B testing, lift testing, and attribution frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets with efficiency and strategic rigor
- Confident communicator with proven experience collaborating with multiple cross-functional partners
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-stakes growth org - with a bias for action, experimentation, and results
